Add Maintenance Operation

This tutorial will walk you through creating a Maintenance Operation. Maintenance operations are used to setup regular maintenance on your machines. Maintenance Operations can have multiple inspections to walk the maintenance team through each step.

 

Start by selecting the Maintenance button from the Home Menu.


 

This will bring you to the Maintenance Menu.


 

Select Manage Maintenance to bring up a list of Maintenance Operations.


 

From here, select Add New Operation to bring up the Create Maintenance Operation screen.


 

Start by entering a Name and Number for the maintenance operation.


 

Next, give the operation a Description and tell us the Average Completion Time of the operation in hours.


 

Select the Universal check box if you would like this operation to be applied to all machines.


 

Once you have entered all information on your Maintenance Operation, click Create and you will be brought to the Add Inspections screen.


From here, you can add inspections to the the maintenance operation. For a tutorial on adding inspections refer to the Add Inspection article in the Maintenance help section.

To navigate back to a list of Maintenance Operations, select Back to Index or Cancel.

 

Your new maintenance operation will now appear in the list of active Maintenance Operations.
